Biologist

With a PHD in Marine Biology and a background in Science of Education, I currently teach at the HEP – High Pédagogic School, Vaud, Switzerland.

My main passions are travel, music and… biology! Thanks to the latter, I’ve been able to travel the world, discovering many countries, ecosystems, cultures and music.

I’ve been lucky enough to work at several marine stations in France, Ecuador and the Galapagos. The songs of the whales, the changing colors of the cephalopods, the rhythm of the tides and the astonishing shapes that life can take have always fascinated me.

Relationship with Artecapt

I’m member of this association since it was founded in 2019. I’m inspired by the correspondences, complementarities and links (old and new) that our meetings and collaborations energize. Over the years, I’ve seen the links forged between these two different ways of looking at the world – the sciences and the arts.

I love this sharing of our curiosity, our creativity, our different rigors, and whether you’re an artist or a scientist, what you have in common is passion. Artecapt is also a very special place for me. Artecapt is sometime far away from my profession’s field and this distance allows me to discover other disciplines, other people and other experiences that my work doesn’t necessarily allow me to come into contact with. The friendly, festive spirit that animates our regular meetings, our joint projects and the life of this wonderful association is also an important point.

I believe that science seeks to understand the astonishing artistic expression of life, and Artecapt is the way to bring them together.
